My name is Casey Kane, and I’m the owner of Kalinka Malinka, a fine jewelry business specializing in by-appointment sales and “on-site” presentations—home or office jewelry parties.

In addition to a life-long interest in jewelry and gemstones, I have almost a decade of experience selling fine jewelry, including four years as the store manager of a prestigious Old Town, Alexandria jewelry boutique. I loved working with the jewelry and helping customers discover the perfect item, whether it was for personal adornment or a thoughtful gift for a loved one. After about the hundredth customer asked me if I was the owner, I figured I’d take the hint, and left to start my own business in October 2004.

I’m proud of the jewelry I carry, because of both its quality and its value. I personally handpick everything I sell, usually directly from the artisans and designers who make the jewelry. My collection changes frequently, but I always stock a variety of current and upcoming styles in a broad range of prices, with items starting at under $20 and with only a select few over $200.

My jewelry is mostly sterling silver and gemstone, though I do sell some gold, genuine Swarovski crystal, and high-quality cubic zirconium pieces (CZ has come a long way).

Because I handpick all the jewelry I sell, I can personally guarantee every piece of jewelry that passes through my hands, and I can work with all of my customers to give them the best value and the best prices possible.
